If people were trying to kill my friends, family and my way of life, I would tell my friends and family to get back home and stop instigating shit if you don’t want to die. I wouldn’t go murder people just because my friends are doing it. I wouldn’t stand up for a murderous friend if he was IN THE WRONG. I’d let him die. That’s his life, his choices to make. Who am I to tell him what to do? I can only offer my advise. As for my “way of life” is concerned, how exactly does “My way of life” necessitate murdering people? If that was OUR way of life, I’d willingly let my friends and family die. My way of life would NOT entail killing people.

Once he flares up and gets angry with me and the fight breaks out, I should feel justified in murdering him over it?

There are two problems with that scenario: 1) You shouldn’t be there in the first fuckin’ place. 2) You instigated the problem and now you murder him as if it’s justified…. as if preemptive murder is ever justified. Nice. So not only are you not willing to protect your friends and family you’d just sit back and let them die because you do not believe in the same things as they do.  Classy. Can you name one war that we started for no reason other than we wanted its resources.  You can’t name Iraq and Afghanistan because we’re getting next to no oil or anything else from them and we’re paying them billions of dollars per year for what little we do receive.  Also, every other country that we have bases on either asked us to be there or gave us permission to build them there so we didn’t just move in and build forts there.

Two problems with your scenario: 1) Either they asked us to be there, gave us permission to do so or gave us legitimate reason to attack and now we have to remain there to ensure they have a decent chance to rebuild (Wasn’t it you that was crying about us leaving countries alone and watching them destroy themselves?).  If they didn’t want us there, they should not have asked us to come, gave us permission to be there or acted in a way the justified military action.  Not too hard.

And the rest of that paragraph is just oral diarrhea so I won’t even bother with that.
